Its a Friday night a few weeks later and they are starting to pack to move. beneatha and george then come back from a date and George wants to kiss her but beneatha wasn't having it and says that he is a fool to mama Later the neighbor stops by to tell them a news story about the black family that was bombed out of a there house by white people that lived in the area. and she imagines that the youngers will make the paper next week because they are moving to a white neighborhood. later on ruth gets a phone call that Walter hasn't showed up for his job in 3 days and might lose his job. act 3 notes

act 3 starts off 1 hour later and they are very sad about the money being lost, right after asagi came to the door ready to help them move. beneath then tells him about what happened to the money and right after he asks her to move to Africa with him. Mamma then tells them to start unpacking right as when they were ready to move she then says sometimes you just got to know when to give up to ruth. Walter then comes back and he made a call to carl litner, he then arrives at the same time as the movers to talk about if they are moving or not. he explains to him who they are and what they do and he is proud of them, he then tells him that the youngers will be moving into the house there father earned. and they were warned about the dangers to come with moving in but they are anyways.
