1)  The setting of the story is the cat's house and in the photo. The cat is in his house painting in his bedroom. He has on a white jacket that has pockets to hold his paintbrushes and has a painting palette in his hand. its also in the middle of the winter so that is why the cat is painting inside his house. The cat only has two things inside his room and it is his bed and the painting easel where he does all his paintings. 2) The hungry cat It was lunchtime and the cat was just laying in his bed then all of a sudden he just got really hungry and he sat there for a minute and was thinking about what he wanted to eat then it finally came to him. He was really in the mood for some nice goldfish for lunch. While all of this is going on he had an idea to go down to the pond to get a little snack but first, he wanted to paint the goldfish that he was thinking off because he thought it would be a good painting that would sell for a lot of money and he could get more food.
