Play review The plot of this play was Sophie who is played by Audra she is getting married and invites 3 men to her wedding hoping to figure out who her real dad is to have him walk her down the aisle. I think that in this play they used a lot of different kinds of lighting and the clothes they wore were a lot brighter than the last play which I felt made the play have a whole different feel it made it feel more upbeat and kept me more intrigued during the performance. I could also tell which characters were more important than the others in the play by just what they were wearing. The characters that were position similar where the 3 men that were invited to the wedding in hopes that one is Sophie's dad. I think the director's mission for this play was to just have fun and make it more of an upbeat play. Its a Friday night a few weeks later and they are starting to pack to move. beneatha and george then come back from a date and George wants to kiss her but beneatha wasn't having it and says that he is a fool to mama Later the neighbor stops by to tell them a news story about the black family that was bombed out of a there house by white people that lived in the area. and she imagines that the youngers will make the paper next week because they are moving to a white neighborhood. later on ruth gets a phone call that Walter hasn't showed up for his job in 3 days and might lose his job. Mama feeling bad for her son gives him the rest of the money from the check and says to out put some away for beneathas college and have the rest. she wants him to be the head of the family for now on. he then tells Travis about all the change he is gonna do now.

The beginning of the scene takes place on the same day just later in the day, the scene starts with beantha trying on the clothes that the man from Nigeria gave her. Walter comes back drunk and starts to listen to the music that is playing and kinda likes it. Then he and beneatha start to act like they are from a tribe in Nigeria pretending to hold a spear. after the dancing and drunk acts with music on George walks in and he is going to the theatre with beneathe and told her to change so she takes off the headdress and she cut her hair short. beneatha also gets into an argument with George. Walter then starts to talk to George about his plans then it kinda turns into an argument and Walter is not happy. It is Saturday morning, they are cleaning the house and the day the check is supposed to arrive when they are cleaning beneatha is wondering where ruth went so she asks moma and she says she went to the doctor so she asks if everything is ok then she gives her a look in a way she could tell what was going on so she waits for her to come home then when ruth finally comes back home she tells them the news although they already kinda knew what was going on beneathe then have a friend who just got back from Canada come over even though the house isn't fully clean he is from Nigeria and brought beneathe some pieces of clothing from his culter and some records. when Walter finally comes back home the first thing he asks is if the check came in and mama shows it to him but says he should talk to his wife about something. mama then tells him there ain't gonna be no investing in any liquor stores.  At the end of the scene, mama finally has to tell Walter that he is expecting ano...

1. play college football 2. Go into marketing and maybe even open a clothing store of some kind 3. I am sad at the moment but then I move on to something else bigger and better 4. Right now I think I am most like Walter lee because he is trying to open his own business. 5. if I was to live with this family I would do whatever I could to better the others there but at the same time work to get out of that situation to move to something better.
