Cole Baker lit and performance

There was the 2 main lines that stood out to me the most and the first one was "love yourwork, and enjoy your play. Remember, there is little lasting joy in things done only for gold or fame." This line has a lot of diffrent meaning to it but what i take out of this is you should never do something that you dont enjoy and you are just doing it for money or trying to get fame from it becuase your never gonna do good in something you dont enjoy. The second line i choose was " Have a place and a time to sit with your thoughts." This lines means a lot and is very important thing to remeber to do becuase it is always  a good thing to stop look back or something and to just think about what you are goin to do or already did.

 In the first poem, it talks about and starts by saying how you should wake up in the morning and be refreshed and ready to go for the day. some lines that I took from this poem that stood out to me are  " Have a place and a time to sit with your though's". I think the feel and emotion of this poem are about u as a person and what you should do on a day to day bases to help you be the best person you can.  I think the second poem wants you to think about what a poem really is and what you should really take out of reading a poem and how it is important and a lot of the time means something more whether you realize it or not. the feel or emotion of this poem is like kinda sad in a way but at the same time it makes you wanna think about a poem in more depth when you read it instead of just reading it and moving on to the next thing.

 People call me pig skin, I am made out of leather. I like to be thrown around and caught by other people. I don't like to get wet though because when I get wet its hard for me to dry off and then I get really heavy. my Favorite thing to do is to go flying through the big yellow field goal post. But before I make it through there I am kicked and held by the kicker and the holder. Then I am retrieved by someone then I get to go flying through the air again on the kick off but the bad thing is I am caught by the opposite team and I don't like that.

The object that I chose is a field goal post. They are a very tall and most go the time they are yellow and you use them In football. I chose this object to best represent me because I am a kicker punter in football. I connect to this because it helps me want to do go in school and do good on the field. So that hopefully I can play college football when I leave.
